Videoconferencing Takes off in Fort Bend ISD

 

Distance education by definition is the use of technology to overcome time, distance and other barriers to address the needs of educators and individual learners. Distance learning opportunities are provided by two-way videoconferencing technology. All Fort Bend ISD campuses are equipped with videoconferencing units. This year students have interacted with experts and other students from all over the world. We have participated in many unique sessions such as Autopsies, visits with soldiers in Iraq, video-conferences with students in Canada, Haiti, South America, surgeries, TAKS review games, poetry competitions, experiments with NASA and more. Check out the great events happening in Fort Bend ISD in the 2010-11:
